Hi everyone! I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I am getting pretty excited for fall. 🤯
August was BUSY in terms of design projects, and I have loved revealing what I’ve been working on all summer. This fall, we’re working on branding for a salon + spa, a microinfluencer, and an eco-friendly wellness brand! It’s going to be epic. ✨
Koner and I are going on a week long road trip to Wyoming this month, and I have already started packing I’m that excited. Planning to do a social media detox as well, and I’m very much needing that right now.
Here’s what else I have been up to the past month:

took a weekend girls trip to Kansas City for a Glass Animals concert
enjoyed the last days of summer with some biking, gardening, and a trip to Lake of the Ozarks
ate too much at the World Food & Music Festival

Meet Annie, the newest addition to the WLL team! She’s been helping out with all things design and social media related. She designed this month’s mantra graphic! I am beyond excited to have her here with me. :) Read more about Annie below:
Hello everyone! I’m Annie, Libby’s new Design Assistant! I’m a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota Duluth, where I received my BFA in Studio Art with an emphasis in Digital Art and Photography. I’ve since moved to Des Moines, and have been working with Libby for about a month! My personal style of art is colorful and maximalist (more is more!), and I enjoy collaging, landscape photography, and self portraits. Some other hobbies of mine include playing a couple instruments, gaming, and journaling.

Climbing!
I tried out rock climbing with friends last month, and I am loving it so much! It’s a wonderful way to be active and it’s been challenging and rewarding. I got all the way to the top of the wall for the first time and I’m really proud of myself. 🥹
Open Back Boat Neck Dress
This dress is soo comfy and I love the color! I also got it in brown for a fall wedding coming up.
Simple Yogurt Ranch Dip
I made this dip a couple times for gatherings last month, and it’s so easy and yummy (and healthy)!
plain greek yogurt
fresh chopped chives
fresh chopped green onions
dry ranch seasoning
splash of pickle juice
I don’t really have measurements for this, just do what feels right to you :)
2024 Garden Tour
This was my first summer with a garden box! I have absolutely loved having fresh flowers and herbs growing all summer. Here’s everything I planted, along with some of my favorite photos of the garden so far.
Herbs: mint, thai basil, stevia, chives, sweet peppers, parsley, lavender, basil, rosemary, oregano
Flowers: dwarf sunflowers, zinnias, delphinium, wildflowers, celosia, impatiens, and a few others that i forget the names of
What I learned:
I really love zinnias and they’re easy to grow, so definitely growing them next year!
I used basil, oregano, and mint the most for cooking
Next year I will plant less filler flowers and more cut flower varieties
The squirrels and birds are ruthless
September Mantra
Feel the fear and do it anyway.
This has been a really important phrase to me in the past few years. I especially needed to remind myself this when I hired my first part time employee this month.
